If it Doesn’t Make Sense, Don’t Join

Posted by: nickitompkins on: February 17, 2009

Just recently I was with a very good friend of mine and he told me he signed up for a company that is in pre-launch.

Oh, the excitement was in the air and since I use some of the products already, these were going to be even better. Big companies have already signed up and he printed out an introduction for me to read with the website address.

So, I read this paper and they’re going to market “sustainable cleaners” but I couldn’t find any product listing on the website, just a video explanation.

And, if I sign up under the person who invited me, I may not end up there once the system is up and running and the company is not liable or at any obligation to change my location. Actually, they’re not liable for anything.

They don’t mention if they’re privately owned or going to be publicly traded. If they are going to be publicly traded, the cost of the overhead will basically kill your compensation.

Did I mention, that the “compensation plan is not fully developed” yet?? They are still working on it.

Would you join this opportunity???

What if your friend was a Super Duper Space Commander? Would you join then?

Do you have enough information to make a good, sound decision? Would you even know what information you need or would you just trust the person who may be your spouse, friend, boss or family member?

You know, a couple years ago, I might have joined my friend because of the respect I have for him. I do know he has my best interest in mind, however, since reading the ebook that I offer you to click on in the upper right corner, I became a critical thinker, a good thing, and knew why I shouldn’t join him.

The ebook, coupled with the skills calls and trainings available have changed the way I do business and the way I look at new businesses.

Hope this helps you too.
